Software Engineer

Job Overview

Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging production web applications across frontend and backend while building scalable APIs, ensuring secure coding practices, and delivering features across the full SDLC in an Agile environment.

Requirement/Must Have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in full stack or web application development.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering production-ready applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript including async patterns, closures, Promises, DOM manipulation, and ES6+.
• Hands-on experience with at least one frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and integration patterns.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data manipulation and optimization.
• Strong understanding of system design principles, algorithms, and data structures.

Experience

• Experience in full stack or web application development in production environments.
• Experience working with existing enterprise or large-scale codebases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug production web applications across frontend and backend.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following secure coding and compliance standards.
• Own features across the full SDLC from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Develop and maintain automated tests including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and standups.
• Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Should Have

• Experience with server-side technologies such as Node.js, Python, or PHP.
• Familiarity with MVC architecture patterns.
• Experience with Git workflows including branching, PRs, and code reviews.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker.
• Experience with build tools such as npm, Webpack, Vite, or Babel.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum tools like JIRA or similar.
• Experience with TDD and software quality practices.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
