Emergency Room Nurse

Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting, ensuring rapid assessment and intervention to stabilize and improve patient outcomes. Supervises and coordinates with multidisciplinary teams while utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patients’ conditions promptly upon arrival.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment data.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures adhering to clinical standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and safety precautions.

Qualifications:

• Hold current RN licensure in the practicing state.
• Possess at least two years of recent emergency room nursing experience.
• Maintain current BLS certification from an approved provider.
• Obtain additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and NRP as required.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
