About the Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to help build the operational foundation that enables our marketing team to scale. This is a hands‑on individual contributor role for someone who enjoys building: systems, workflows, processes, data infrastructure, and increasingly, AI‑powered ways of working. You’ll own the day‑to‑day marketing operations infrastructure across our marketing automation platform, CRM, analytics, lifecycle, and campaign processes while helping us evolve toward an AI‑native marketing organization.

A key part of this role is making marketing execution more scalable and repeatable. Rather than owning campaign production, you’ll build the standards, templates, and AI‑enabled processes that allow Demand Generation, Events, Brand, and other marketers to execute campaigns efficiently and consistently. You’ll work closely with Marketing leadership and serve as a primary partner to Revenue Operations on cross‑functional systems, data, and process initiatives.

Build & Optimize Marketing Operations, Data & Measurement Infrastructure

• Own the day‑to‑day administration, configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting of our marketing automation infrastructure, including HubSpot and its integrations with Salesforce and other marketing technologies.
• Help identify gaps in our evolving MarTech stack and contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new technologies.
• Maintain high standards for Marketing data quality, including database health, segmentation, enrichment, deduplication, campaign data, consent and preference management, and data governance.
• Troubleshoot tracking and reporting issues and work cross‑functionally to resolve underlying data or systems problems.
• Support bespoke reporting and analysis, including using tools such as Claude to answer business questions more efficiently.

Own Lifecycle, Scoring & Lead Management

• Build, maintain, and optimize lifecycle stages, lead scoring models, routing, Sales handoffs, SLAs, recycling, and related processes.
• Partner closely with Revenue Operations to ensure Marketing and Sales systems and processes work together effectively.
• Ensure the infrastructure can evolve alongside changes in our go‑to‑market strategy.

Build AI‑Native Marketing Operations for Scalable Campaign Execution

• Build and maintain the standards and automations that enable marketers to execute campaigns efficiently and consistently, including campaign taxonomy, naming conventions, required fields, tracking standards, templates, workflows, and QA processes across HubSpot, Salesforce, and other platforms.
• Document repeatable marketing processes and translate them into AI‑enabled workflows, skills, and agents that reduce manual work and enable consistent execution across campaign setup, QA, tracking, reporting and other operational workflows.
• Partner with marketers across Demand Generation, Events, Brand, and other functions to identify high‑value opportunities for AI and automation.
• Experiment with emerging AI capabilities and help determine where they can meaningfully improve Marketing’s speed, quality, and scale.

• 5–8 years of experience in B2B SaaS Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, Marketing Technology, or a related discipline
• Experience in healthtech, or another complex B2B environment.
• Deep hands‑on experience with marketing automation platforms; HubSpot experience strongly preferred.
• Strong Salesforce acumen and an understanding of how Marketing and Sales systems, data, and processes connect.
• Experience with lifecycle management, scoring, routing, campaign tracking, automation, sales hand‑offs, and marketing data.
• Hands‑on experience with Claude and/or other AI tools to build agents, skills, workflows and automations that improve processes, support analysis and documentation, and solve business problems.
• Comfort with developer concepts (Git/GitHub, repositories, basic front‑end or web‑forms work) is strongly preferred — you'll be building and maintaining AI‑native workflows alongside marketing execution.
• Strong systems thinking with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong project management and cross‑functional communication skills
• A self‑directed builder who is comfortable troubleshooting complex systems, working through ambiguity, and collaborating across Marketing, Sales and Revenue Operations.

Success in year one is measurable through SLA and delivery consistency, marketing data credibility, and adoption of the AI‑enabled workflows you build. In your first year, you’ll help establish a scalable Marketing Operations foundation and a growing set of AI‑enabled workflows that make it easier for marketers to execute high‑quality work at scale. You’ll be successful when our marketers spend less time figuring out how to execute and more time focused on what to execute because the systems, standards, automation, and AI infrastructure underneath them work.

$120,000 - $160,000 a year

This compensation range is for candidates who will be based out of our Santa Barbara, CA or Seattle, WA offices. This role also comes with equity and various benefits.
