Sales Counselor

Shorehaven is seeking a relationship-driven Sales Counselor to help prospective residents and families explore senior living at our beautiful Oconomowoc campus. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, connecting with people, and helping individuals navigate an important life decision. You'll work closely with prospective residents and families from their first inquiry through tours, follow-up, and ultimately their transition to Shorehaven. What You'll Do Build relationships with prospective residents and families and provide consistent, thoughtful follow-up. Conduct tours of Shorehaven residences, amenities, and community spaces. Guide prospects through the decision-making, application, and move-in process. Manage prospect activity and maintain accurate information within our sales system. Develop relationships with referral sources and community partners. Participate in open houses, prospect events, community outreach, and networking opportunities. Maintain knowledge of Shorehaven's senior living options, services, amenities, and pricing. Work collaboratively with the Director of Housing and other Shorehaven departments to create a welcoming and seamless experience for new residents. Contribute to Shorehaven's occupancy and sales goals through relationship development, follow-up, and conversion efforts. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is professional, approachable, organized, and genuinely enjoys connecting with people. Previous experience in sales, senior living, hospitality, leasing, or another relationship-based customer environment is preferred. Senior living experience is helpful, but we also welcome candidates with transferable relationship-based sales experience. Our ideal candidate will bring: An associate or bachelor's degree in business, communications, hospitality, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Strong relationship-building and communication skills A customer-focused and consultative approach to sales Confidence conducting tours and meeting with prospective residents and families Strong organization and consistent follow-through Comfort using technology to manage prospects, communication, and sales activity The ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a team Flexibility to occasionally participate in evening or weekend tours and events Why Shorehaven?
