We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Production Engineer to support our cabinet manufacturing operations. This position will focus on improving production processes, optimizing efficiency, resolving manufacturing issues, and ensuring consistent product quality.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, improve, and standardize manufacturing processes and work instructions.
- Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and cost.
- Work closely with production, engineering, purchasing, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Review and maintain BOMs, production drawings, specifications, and process documentation.
- Support new product introduction and ensure products are ready for efficient production.
- Troubleshoot production problems and implement practical corrective actions.
- Assist with production planning, material requirements, tooling, and equipment selection.
- Monitor production performance and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering, preferably in cabinet, woodworking, millwork, or furniture manufacturing .
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, machinery, and production systems.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with CAD or manufacturing software is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Bilingual English/Mandarin is a huge plus.
