Guided by our values of safety, loyalty, integrity and respect, we are committed to delivering meaningful value for shareholders, customers, employees and the communities where we operate.This position will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, reconditioning, overhaul, and maintenance of company heavy equipment and/or components.Primary DutiesPerform on highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipmentPerform on emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine servicePerform mechanics duties and responsibilitiesPerform electrician duties and responsibilitiesPerform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machinesPerform electrical skills including, but not limited to, basic electrical troubleshooting, uploading PLC programs, saving PLC programs, changing PLC programs as needed, programming VFD's, programming drives, running conduit and power to new equipment, replacing electrical hardwarePerform electrical troubleshootingRead and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and serviceRead and interpret electrical schematics and PLC programsDiagnose mechanical and electrical problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustmentsPerform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilitiesPerform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functionComply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.Candidate MUST meet the following minimum requirements:Must have high school diploma or GED.Able to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English.Provide own tools necessary to perform maintenance tasks.Highly motivated and able to work independently.1 - 3 years' work experience in an industrial maintenance environmentCompletion of an education program in electrical or industrial electrical or industrial training or completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship Program and three out of the last five years' experience as an electrical technician in an industrial maintenance fieldMust be able to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagramsGood with working in a team setting alongside multiple other craftsMust be able to obtain and maintain all certifications as required by Company, and LawAbility to read and interpret safety documents, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, electrical drawings, and electrical circuitsCandidates are PREFERRED who offer the following:Prior work experience in the corrugated box industry.Skills in pneumatics, electrical, PLC and hydraulicsTo successfully perform the essential functions of this role it requires the ability to: stand occasionally, walk frequently, frequent use of hands (reach with hands and arms), view computer monitor, use telephone, speak and listen frequently. The role requires occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
