Location and Hours Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Days of Week: 4. Work Shift: Not specified. Job Purpose Highly technical, fast‑paced nursing position to provide patients the best care. Registered Nurse (RN) delivers professional nursing care to assigned patients, applying the nursing process. Directs and supervises assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to provide age/developmentally appropriate care per unit standards. Supports the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of Methodist Health System. Job Requirements Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred. Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas. Current Basic Life Support certification. Additional certifications as required by department. Related Work Experience and Other Skills Knowledgeable about hospital policies, procedures, and nursing care standards, and utilizes these when providing nursing care. Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program. Ability to work with confidential material. Job Responsibilities Communicate clearly and openly.
