ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced medical ICU with 30 beds. Our unit specializes in providing comprehensive care for a diverse patient population, including those experiencing sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (TDM2), alcohol use and abuse, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy.
Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a medical ICU setting.
Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status using advanced equipment and technology.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
Utilize ventilators and other respiratory support systems as needed to manage patient respiratory conditions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and health management.
Participate in critical care protocols and initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in an ICU or similar critical care setting.
Current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Proficient in the use of ventilators and other critical care equipment.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Active nursing license in the state of employment.
