This is a part‑time Mammography Technologist position at our Frankfort Hospital location, working two 12‑hour shifts per week with no weekends and no call . Candidates with an ARRT(M) certification are highly encouraged to apply! Job Description: Performs quality diagnostic and screening mammographic studies utilizing knowledge of anatomic positions. Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures by explaining the process, positioning patients correctly, and adjusting equipment as needed. Reviews prior imaging to attain and/or improve tissue visualization as compared to prior studies. Complies with FDA MQSA Regulations. Assists with mammographs, ultrasound, and MR guided breast localizations and biopsies. May perform screening breast ultrasound procedures as required by local facility. Requires 0‑3 years of relevant experience. Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required. Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning. Must be an active Registered Technologist—Radiography, RT(R) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Must hold certification in Mammography (M) through the ARRT within 12 months of hire. Must obtain credential through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS): RDMS(BR); or ARRT: RT(S)(BS), or RT(R)(M)(BS) within 18 months of hire if performing breast ultrasound. Must hold current license through Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) as Radiologic Technologist. Must meet Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) requirements; preferred if already met. Must be willing to learn breast ultrasound procedures if applicable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
