Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) $60 - $61/hour $2,400.0 - $2,440 weekly base pay Onsite Local Contract Starts 6/29/2026 14 weeks. 8 hours/day 5 days/week. Title: Speech Language Pathologist Length of assignment: 14 Weeks Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM Minimum guarantee: 40 Hours Location: Franklin, NH POSITION SUMMARY: The Speech Language Pathologist will primarily provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in‑home setting for older adults. The setting could be a patient’s private residence or an assisted living or independent living facility. The SLP evaluates and treats patients in the most functional environment – the patient’s home. The SLP organizes and provides speech‑language services to facilitate rehabilitation, directs patient participation in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance, and teaches skills essential for communication and swallowing. The SLP promotes health within the scope of practice and the Code of Ethics, and offers a flexible schedule in various settings. RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES Supervise CFYs temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards. Maintain adherence to department and patient treatment schedule, timely clinical and billing documentation, and work‑related meetings. Attend and contribute to patient care, staffing conferences and other related meetings. Make referrals to other disciplines and agencies to address comprehensive patient needs. Consult with rehabilitation team members and the physician to select the most appropriate therapeutic regimen. Adapt program and/or plan of care to individual patient needs. Promote a safe environment and eliminate fire and safety hazards. Order supplies and equipment as necessary. Clean, maintain, identify, and report equipment repair needs. Put Patient Service first, ensuring residents and families receive high‑quality service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients, including history, systems review, appropriate tests, and measures, synthesize information to establish diagnosis, identify impairments, predict improvement, identify precautions, and design a plan of care. Develop treatment goals and methods in collaboration with the patient and caregivers, implement the treatment plan, and complete all related documentation and record‑keeping. Services include but are not limited to application of therapeutic techniques in areas such as: cognitive-communication speech intelligibility oral motor skills swallowing disorders/dysphagia perceptual abilities orientation memory pragmatics psychosocial expression functional communication case‑management skills in the home and community Coordinate acquisition of adaptive communication devices and instruct patients in their use. Facilitate identification of hearing deficits and refer for assessment, diagnosis, rehabilitation, or personal amplification. Select activities suited to the patient's physical and mental capacity, intelligence level, and interest. Instruct patients in skills and techniques required for therapeutic activities, and evaluate progress, attitudes, and behavior. Perform routine reexamination as needed to modify or progress the treatment plan. Coordinate care in the home and community with interdisciplinary team and the referring physician. Perform other related duties as required. SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL / VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state(s) of practice or proof of license eligibility. Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow. Valid driver’s license or reliable, independent transportation to and from patients’ residence. JOB SKILLS Good organizational and time management skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. COMPLIANCE Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures, including the Compliance and Ethics Program, Standard/Code of Conduct, Federal False Claims Act, and HIPAA. Participate in required orientation and training programs. Promptly report concerns and suspected incidences of non‑compliance via the Integrity Hotline. Cooperate with monitoring, audit functions, and investigations. Participate, as requested, in quality assurance and process improvement activities.
