About Party Teller
Party Teller is a fast-growing specialty retailer offering party supplies, balloons, Halloween merchandise, holiday décor, gifts, and seasonal products.
We are looking for a hands-on Receiving & Distribution Lead to support our warehouse operations and ensure merchandise is accurately received, organized, and distributed to our retail stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming merchandise and shipments.
- Verify quantities against packing lists and receiving documents.
- Identify and report shortages, damages, or receiving discrepancies.
- Organize, label, and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Sort and allocate merchandise to different Party Teller retail stores.
- Pick, pack, stage, and prepare merchandise for store deliveries and transfers.
- Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and Store Operations regarding receiving and distribution needs.
- Assign and coordinate daily tasks for warehouse associates or temporary workers as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
- Support new store openings and seasonal inventory distribution as needed.
- 2+ years of warehouse, receiving, inventory, or distribution experience preferred.
- Previous Lead or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Experience with receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
- Basic computer and inventory system skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Chinese is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform normal warehouse activities.
- Ability to safely lift and move merchandise as required.
