Our robust and community-based hospital proudly offers comprehensive health services for acute and emergent situations. Services include 24-hour emergency, critical care, medical, surgical, and cardiac services including open heart surgery, outpatient surgery, orthopedics, and imaging services.With almost 400 physicians on staff, you can be confident we will do our best to provide technologically advanced, high-quality health care. Responsibilities We are Growing!Clinic + ProceduresSCHEDULE: Full- Time Hospital Employed PositionTEAM: 3 IC, 1 EP, 1 Physician AssistantCALL: 1:5 (week at a time, 100% rounds/call) – will be 1:3 going forwardEMR: EPIC in the hospital and clinicVOLUME: 20 patients per clinic day, average of 20 consults per day with the help of the PA to round. * complete flexibility to design your schedule and how many 1/2-day clinics you desire * 150 patients in ER / day * average 20 admissions / day (50% are cardio consults) * 2 busiest in group = 3,500-4,400 clinic visits (2022) * Inpatient = 1,400-2,500 patientsPAYOR MIX: 30% Medicare | 30% Medicaid | 40% private/commercialPATIENT LANGUAGES: large% of Spanish speaking patientsABOUT: established busy cardiology program 20+ years * large Cardiology Program for size of hospital * 2 Cath Labs - constantly busy * Chest Pain accredited * Stroke Certified Employment Status Full Time Shift Days Equal Employment Opportunity We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against applicants due to veteran status, disability, race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.
