We produce television shows, digital content, live events, consulting services, and unforgettable experiences that inspire millions. Every record has a story. As a GWR Adjudicator, you'll be the one who verifies the world's most extraordinary achievements. The Opportunity We're looking for an Official Adjudicator ideally based on Texas, Nevada, or California to join our team as a freelancer. This is a flexible, event-based role where you'll represent Guinness World Records at live record attempts, television productions, corporate events, sporting competitions, and public activations throughout the United States and occasionally beyond. As the official representative of Guinness World Records, you'll evaluate record attempts against our guidelines, make impartial decisions under pressure, announce official results, and present certificates to successful record holders. On average, Official Adjudicators support approximately 8–12 events per year, although event volume may vary based on business needs and your availability. Assignments are scheduled in advance whenever possible, and flexibility to travel, including weekends and weekdays, is essential. No two events are alike. One week you may be judging a world record on a television set; the next, you could be officiating a large-scale public event or working with a global brand. What You'll Do: Serve as the official Guinness World Records representative at live record attempts and events. Study and thoroughly understand the rules and evidence requirements for each assigned record attempt. Communicate with event organizers before events to answer questions and ensure record requirements are understood. Evaluate record attempts objectively and determine whether a record has been successfully achieved. Announce official results and present Guinness World Records certificates to successful record holders. Represent the Guinness World Records brand with professionalism during media interviews, public appearances, and client interactions. Prepare detailed event reports and submit supporting documentation, photographs, and evidence following each assignment. Travel regularly throughout the West Coast and other U.S. locations as needed. What We're Looking For: We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, confident, adaptable, and comfortable being the face of Guinness World Records. You'll also have: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong public speaking and presentation abilities. Confidence making objective decisions in fast-paced, live environments. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to apply rules consistently. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to remain impartial. Experience working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Flexibility to travel frequently, including weekends and occasional weekdays. A valid U.S. passport and the ability to travel domestically and internationally, if required. Preferred Experience: Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable: Live events Television or broadcasting Public speaking or presenting Sports officiating Performance or acting Hospitality or customer-facing roles Why Join Guinness World Records?
