Surgical Instrument Technician

This is a full-time position with a PM shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, working four 10-hour shifts each week, Monday to Friday, and rotating weekends every second weekend.

Job Description

The Surgical Instrument Technician is responsible for the preparation, care, sterilization, and transportation of medical and surgical instruments, packs, supplies, and equipment. A strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and sterilization protocols is essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, care for, and sterilize medical and surgical instruments and supplies.
• Transport instruments and equipment to various departments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sterilization protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of relevant experience is required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) is required.
• Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or equivalent is required.
