Work in a job with security and a supportive team. Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to various facilities. Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment. Submit and transmit X-Rays to a Radiologist for interpretation. Unload portable X-Ray equipment and take it into facilities for exams. Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-ray images. Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. Scan exam-related paperwork daily per protocol. Regularly communicate with dispatch and management. Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients. Maintain the vehicle and X-ray equipment. Physical demands: Radiologic Technologists may push or pull between 50 to 100 lbs. Equipment weight decreases with the use of vehicle ramps and pulleys. Weight can increase when pushing or pulling equipment in facilities or homes. Force of 50 lbs or more can occur 16 to 24 times a day.
