The successful candidate will join a highly regarded team known for its practical, business-focused advice and strong litigation capabilities.Candidate ProfileJDfrom atop-tier law schoolwith astrong academic record.Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, ingood standing.2–6 years of substantiveexperience in employment law, including litigation and counseling mattersExperience handling and managing employment litigation matters and providing employment advice and counsel Strong knowledge of employment law and human resources-related issuesExperience drafting and reviewing employment agreements, employee handbooks, policies, severance agreements, and related employment documentsExperience with employment litigation, including single-plaintiff claims, class actions, wage and hour matters, ERISA disputes, and administrative proceedingsTrial experience at any level is a plusStrong commitment to client service and responsivenessExcellent interpersonal, networking, and business development skills and collaborative mindset and appreciation for teamworkSoft Skills: Exceptional research, writing, analytical, communication, and oral advocacy skills are a must. Ability to thrive both as a team contributor and when working autonomously.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day employment and human resources counseling to clientsReview, analyze, and draft employment agreements, employee handbooks, workplace policies, severance agreements, and related employment documentationHandle employment litigation matters, including single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits, ERISA claims, wage and hour class actions, and administrative chargesTake and defend depositions, manage written discovery, draft and argue motions, and examine witnesses at trialAdvise clients on sensitive personnel matters and assist with policy development, review, and implementationSupport traditional labor matters and proceedings involving the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB)Conduct employment-related due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, including reviewing employment provisions in asset and stock purchase agreementsPlay a key role in developing litigation strategy and case managementConduct and support internal investigationsAssist the team with additional employment and labor matters as neededWhy Join Us?This is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside accomplished Employment & Labor attorneys who are recognized for their strategic counseling and successful litigation outcomes.
