Personal Care Specialist FT day shift

What You Should Know About the Personal Care Specialist Role:

• The PCS position is a DRIVING position seeing patients in both facilities and homes within the greater Centerville area
• This is a Full-Time day shift position 40hr per week with the available shifts of 4-10 hours days, 8am-6pm and 3-12hr days of 8am-8pm
• We provide superior care and superior services to patients at their end of life journey. Only those who have a heart for hospice will succeed

The Personal Care Specialist's Essential Duties Are:

We provide superior care for patients in families in homes/facilities. Our aides are titled "Personal Care Specialist" because they are valued for their expertise in taking care of the patient's personal needs with dignity, compassion and empathy. You could become a Personal Care Specialist that provides quality nursing assistance to patients, assists the family with the care of the patient and works with a team that relies on your input from the close relationship you develop with the patient.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED;
• Certified Nursing Assistant with the State of Ohio preferred
• one year of experience preferred.
• Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPNA) preferred within two years of employment;
• Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care.
• Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather.
• Valid Driver's license with Safe Driving Record.
• State minimum automobile insurance coverage.
