PSC Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Patient Service Center in Anniston, Alabama. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, maintaining patient records, and delivering customer service. Monday–Friday 7 am–11 am plus rotating Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Process billing information and collect payments from patients
- Prepare specimens for testing and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or certification
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
