A typical day for a Medical Assistant may include:

• Preparing patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, documenting medical histories, and ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
• Assisting physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and procedures, anticipating clinical needs to support efficient, high-quality care
• Performing clinical tasks such as administering injections, collecting specimens, conducting point-of-care testing, and completing other duties within the scope of practice
• Accurately documenting patient information, test results, and provider instructions within the electronic medical record to support continuity of care
• Coordinating patient flow by preparing exam rooms, maintaining supplies, and helping ensure appointments run efficiently
• Providing clear, compassionate education to patients regarding medications, treatment plans, follow-up appointments, and preventive care
• Scheduling appointments, processing referrals, and collaborating with the care team to support seamless patient experiences
• Contributing to a collaborative team environment where professionalism, communication, and patient-centered care are shared priorities
• Pursuing ongoing professional development through training, continuing education, and organizational resources that support long-term career growth

• This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm schedule, allowing you to build strong patient relationships while maintaining a work-life balance.
• Medical Assistant Certification is required or the ability and willingness to obtain certification from one of the following recognized organizations within 60 days of hire: AAMA, AECA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, NCMA, or NHA and a current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• A minimum of 6 months MA experience is required and electronic medical record (EMR) systems, Epic, knowledge is preferred.
