Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our Rehabilitation Center, where you will work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The center is equipped with advanced therapy equipment and resources that facilitate optimal treatments for our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to establish clear treatment objectives and personalized care plans that address specific needs.
• Manage an average caseload allowing for individualized attention, typically seeing one patient per hour to ensure quality, focused treatment.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities to implement effective interventions that improve mobility, strength, flexibility, and overall functional outcomes.
• Create and adapt evidence-based fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's goals and support their recovery process.
• Document patient progress accurately, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT to ensure comprehensive care management.
• Facilitate ongoing communication with other healthcare professionals to provide a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Encourage patient engagement and motivation throughout the treatment process, fostering a proactive attitude toward their rehabilitation and wellness.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, making adjustments to therapy as necessary and educating patients on self-care strategies and lifestyle modifications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and various chronic pain issues. Your ability to tailor interventions to meet the unique needs of each patient will directly impact their recovery journey and overall satisfaction with our services.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and effectively designing and implementing exercise programs that facilitate patient recovery.
• Strong understanding of EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred, allowing you to bring relevant skills and insights into our innovative rehabilitation approach.
• Experience with chronic pain management and functional assessment techniques will enhance your ability to cater to our patients' varied needs.

Compensation and Benefits
