Pay Range: $21.76 - $28.28 Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Position Overview SUMMARY (Basic Purpose of the Job) Ensures that the organizational fleet program is at full compliance with Capital Health policy on vehicle preparedness. Supports the organization by providing the maintenance and upkeep of all vehicles within the Capital Health vehicle fleet. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High school diploma or GED. Experience: One year of experience overseeing vehicle monitoring and maintenance. Other Credentials: Knowledge and Skills: Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Strong attention to detail. Special Training: Familiarity with fleet and management software. Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities: Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. Usual Work Day:8 Hours Reporting Relationships Does this position formally supervise employees? No If set to YES, then this position has the authority (delegated) to hire, terminate, discipline, promote or effectively recommend such to manager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assists Fleet Supervisor with purchasing of vehicles to replace, expand, and enhance the vehicle fleet of the organization. Assists with processing of vehicle state licensure and registration for all Capital Health vehicles and works closely with Risk Management to ensure all vehicles are fully insured. Works with Fleet Supervisor to ensure all vehicles are registered, inspected, and vehicle maintenance is up to date. Schedules regular maintenance on all vehicles. Orders urgent or emergency repairs as needed. Assists Fleet Supervisor with vehicle inspections and preparation of vehicles going through NJMVC inspection as well as NJOEMS and Bucks County Emergency Health Services inspections. Provides support to supervisor by helping to coordinate staff and other professionals as needed to assign and assist work schedules. Maintains records to ensures all fleet members have proper credentials and up-to-date training. Understands the basics of vehicle mechanics. Makes recommendations to supervisor by identifying when major repairs are needed to vehicles. Assists in developing strong vendor relationships to ensure proper maintenance and timeliness of turnaround. Assists with logistics for the system as needed. Provides coverage for Fleet Supervisor in absence. Performs preventative maintenance and repair on EMS vehicle autoloaders, stretchers, and Stair Chairs. Assists in keeping invoice and inspection records as needed. Tracks inventory of reserve equipment in fleet trailer. Performs other duties as assigned.
