Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop individualized treatment strategies tailored to their unique needs.
• Assist physical therapists in implementing interventions that may include therapeutic exercises, stretching routines, hands-on treatment techniques, and the use of specialized equipment.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, expected recovery outcomes, and techniques for integrating exercises into daily routines.
• Document patient progress meticulously, adjusting and modifying care plans as necessary to ensure optimum recovery trajectories.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses—to ensure cohesive patient care and recovery strategies.

The patients you will work with primarily include those recovering from orthopedic injuries and conditions related to physical and rehabilitation medicine. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a focus on physical therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license, which is required upon employment.
• Completion of PTA AS (Associate of Science) or PTA AA (Associate of Arts) program is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
