Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant position offers broad exposure across multiple accounting functions, providing opportunities to leverage your expertise, contribute to our ongoing success, and grow within a collaborative team. You will rotate through areas such as revenue, payroll, fixed assets, leases, treasury, and consolidations, working closely with experienced directors and managers. Work environment: Hybrid 3 days in the office, 2 days from home Key Responsibilities Manage month-end close activities across multiple accounting areas, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines. Contribute to special initiatives, including process improvements, system enhancements, and scalability-focused projects. Prepare and review account reconciliations, and conduct variance analysis to support accurate financial reporting and insights. Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve overall operational effectiveness. Evaluate existing policies, procedures, and internal controls, and recommend practical enhancements. Demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic environment while fostering a positive and team-oriented culture. Core Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent documentation skills. Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Effective communicator with leadership capabilities, including experience mentoring or guiding team members. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in a complex, multi-entity environment (healthcare experience not required). Strong technical accounting expertise, with an emphasis on process improvement and scalability. Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and corporate accounting standards. Experience with accounting and financial systems, including process design and optimization. Proficiency in preparing and maintaining accounting workpapers and documentation.
