Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator will manage and execute all logistics activities related to international shipments, ensuring efficient, timely, and compliant movement of goods across global markets. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and hands-on experience working with international freight carriers, customs processes, and global supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and track international shipments from origin to destination, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with import/export regulations. Prepare and review all required documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and compliance documents. Communicate daily with freight forwarders, customs brokers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure shipment accuracy and resolve delays or discrepancies. Manage relationships with international carriers and logistics partners to secure competitive rates and reliable service. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment based on project or customer needs. Maintain accurate shipment records in the company’s ERP or logistics management systems. Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, including customs requirements, INCOTERMS, and country-specific compliance standards. Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and reduce shipping costs. Provide proactive updates to internal stakeholders regarding shipment status and potential risks. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Knowledge, Experience and Skills: Minimum 2–4 years of experience in international logistics or global supply chain coordination. Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, documentation, and INCOTERMS. Experience working with freight forwarders, ocean/air carriers, and customs brokers. Proficiency in logistics or ERP software; Excel skills required. Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in fast-paced environments with strict deadlines. May require occasional travel Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer (up to 8 hours per day). Ability to lift, carry, and move boxes or documents up to 25 lbs as needed for shipment preparation or record organization. Occasional standing, bending, or reaching when handling shipping materials or coordinating with warehouse personnel. Ability to walk through warehouse or storage areas, including navigating between loading docks, inventory storage, or inspection points.
