Clinical Manager- Indiana Endoscopy Center- Avon

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Indiana Endoscopy Center- Avon leadership team in the role of Clinical Manager.

The clinical manager combines clinical experience and contemporary leadership practices with the IU Health Way to achieve excellent outcomes. Accountable for translating and achieving our strategic priorities and outcomes: quality and safety improvements, care affordability, great patient experiences, and great team member experiences. Accountable for providing strategic vision and operational planning for assigned unit. Incumbents will lead an inter-professional team to create an environment where the team is empowered to achieve excellence in patient and organizational outcomes. This role is accountable for advancing nursing practice by advocating and consistently embedding evidenced-base practices and professional nursing standards.

This is a fully onsite role Monday-Friday. The center is open 7AM-4PM and the leader can work those hours or 8AM-5PM. Endoscopy or perioperative experience is preferred.

Reports to: Director- Clinical Operations Ambulatory Surgery Centers

Direct Reports: 35-40

Key Relationships: Centralized GI Scheduling Team, IU Health Medical Group Leaders for Respective Physician Groups

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

• Requires a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN).
• If bachelor degree not in nursing, must have Master of Nursing (MSN).
• Masters degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Specialty certification related to nursing practice or leadership is preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Required Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
