Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the Production Team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Duncan, SC

Pay Range: Dependant on Experience

Shift: 1st (6:45am-3:15pm - 30 min unpaid lunch)

What's the Job?

• Read and analyze assembly and electrical prints, bills of material, and documentation to plan machine building operations.
• Fit and assemble components according to specifications using proper tools and verify conformance of parts.
• Assemble, set-up, and operate machines to verify functionality and capabilities.
• Form and fasten pneumatic and hydraulic lines, fixtures, and attachments required for machine servicing.
• Install wiring, electrical components, and build panels to specifications, and debug assemblies and machines as needed.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent with additional mechanical coursework and at least 5 years of related mechanical assembly experience, or an Associate's Degree in mechatronics, mechanical, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Ability to read and understand prints, schematics, and blueprints.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
• Proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, and scales.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
