About the Role:

The Smile Company Dental Care LLC is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our growing team in St. Louis, MO! Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures and treatments
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms between patients
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist
• Record patient medical histories and treatment notes in dental software
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
• Manage dental supply inventory and ensure operatories are fully stocked
• Provide compassionate chairside manner to ensure patient comfort throughout visits

Requirements:

• Prior dental assisting experience preferred; recent graduates welcome to apply
• Dental Assistant certification or completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
• Familiarity with dental X-rays and radiography techniques
• Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
