Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Endoscopy Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Endoscopy / GI Procedures – Georgia Start Date: September 14, 2026 Location: Georgia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 36 hours per week consisting of two 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) and two 8-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM). Weekend requirement of 2-3 weekends per contract. Call includes one weekday shift per week and one weekend call per 6-week schedule. Highlights: Specialized endoscopy unit with 11 beds, 3 procedure rooms, and average daily census of 20 patients Advanced procedural experience required including ERCP with Spy Glass, Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Colonoscopy, EGD, and ION procedures 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio ensuring quality care delivery Epic charting system and Pyxis medication management Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response, pharmacy, and interpretation services First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience Requirements: Active Georgia or Compact State RN license required at time of submission Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; endoscopy experience strongly preferred ERCP experience is required; experience with ERCP Spy Glass technology highly valued Demonstrated competency in administering and monitoring conscious sedation Experience with bronchoscopy, EBUS procedures, colonoscopy, EGD, and ION procedures Proficiency with Epic charting system preferred Previous experience with 1:2 patient ratios Annual flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered) Full compliance documentation required; must be submitted by the Tuesday prior to start date Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a state-of-the-art endoscopy unit where you'll utilize advanced procedural skills across a diverse range of GI and pulmonary interventions.
