In addition, maintaining supplies and spare parts to properly support these requirements.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Learn the manufacturing process and its equipment to fully understand equipment functionality needs.Analyze, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical devices and systems to support manufacturing equipment needs in both a proactive and reactive function with the main objective of minimizing machine downtime.Maintain the inside and outside of facilities in a safe and efficient manner with a world class appearance.Perform preventive maintenance program tasks with production and engineering personnel.Participate in maintaining supplies and spare parts inventory to support the operational needs.Willing to serve on the Manufacturing team, the Safety Committee and/or be a designated contact person for security and fire alarm response, if needed.Maintains ISO-9001 standardsPerform all duties in a safe manner; support all safety and environmental rules and environmental initiatives.Participate in Lean initiatives to provide ongoing continuous improvement ideas for products, process, and proceduresAssist and train other employees when necessaryPreferred Experience and Skills:Ability to work under pressureEasy to work on team effortsResults-orientedSelf-motivatedMust be Honest and have integrityStrong Negotiation skillsAbility to Self-ManageStrong Social awarenessStrong Relationship skillsResponsible for their own Decision makingAble to independently flex between competing priorities to keep improvement activities movingCurious, life learnerComputer aptitude; Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeRequired Experience and Qualifications:HS graduate or equivalent with 3 years maintenance experience in one or more of the following: electronics, electrical, refrigeration, PLC, hydraulics, pneumaticsMust be willing to work long hours, overtime and weekends as required.On call 24/7 for emergenciesEffective team playerExperience or exposure to lean conceptsValid driver's licenseAbility to handle multiple tasks at one timeAbility to climb in overhead structures; work beneath machines and in close quarters to perform necessary work.Ability to obtain forklift (license)Ability to use various tools for the construction and adjustments of facility equipment.Physical Demands:Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objectsClimbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, liftingThe worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer terminal, expansive reading, etc.The worker is occasionally exposed to adverse environment conditionsMay be required to work in confined spacesMay be exposed to electricity or other power sourcesDOT Physical requiredBenefits:Competitive salaryComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.Generous vacation and paid time off.401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching.Professional development opportunities, including tuition reimbursement and conference attendance.Company-sponsored social events and team-building activities.State-of-the-art equipment and tools to support your work.Equal Opportunity Employer: We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
