Department: CFE Research Time Type: Part time FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Description: Summary: The Quantitative Research Methodology Assistant provides guidance and training to faculty on the use of quantitative data analysis software such as SPSS, STATA, SAS, EViews, Mathematica, MATLAB, R, and others. In collaboration with the Director of Data and Statistical Analysis, they conduct one-on-one consultations; custom workshops for departments; and general faculty workshops as part of CFE faculty programming. They also collaborate on researching new tools and troubleshooting solutions to questions received from faculty. Essential Functions: Provide guidance and training to faculty on the use of quantitative data analysis software such as SPSS, STATA, SAS, EViews, Mathematica, MATLAB, R, and others. Conduct one-on-one consultations; custom workshops for departments; and general faculty workshops as part of CFE faculty programming. Collaborate on researching new tools and troubleshooting solutions to questions received from faculty. Other duties assigned. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Part-time. 20 hours per week.
