Position Overview Join a compassionate and skilled team of professionals as a Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist . You will use cutting-edge ultrasound technology to execute diagnostic procedures while collaborating with a supportive network of clinicians. Your efforts will play a crucial role in providing peace of mind to patients through timely and accurate imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Carry out a range of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
- Ensure patients feel comfortable and safe during procedures, clearly explaining each phase with empathy and care.
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to provide high-quality diagnostic images.
- Operate imaging equipment and maintain it meticulously, reporting malfunctions as needed.
- Document procedures accurately and keep patient records updated within the electronic medical system.
- Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field.
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred.
- Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
- Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capable of working independently and harmoniously within a multidisciplinary team.
