This travel assignment offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and high-acuity cardiac center for excellence, providing intermediate care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Registered Nurse

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a 30-bed cardiac progressive care unit
• Manage equipment such as tele, transport monitors, suction, feeding pumps, and more
• Conduct neurovascular checks and manage pre and post-operative care for surgical patients
• Administer medications, including various drips like heparin and diltiazem
• Collaborate and communicate effectively within a team-oriented environment

Requirements of the Travel Registered Nurse

• Minimum 1-year current acute care PCU hospital experience
• Valid BLS & ACLS certifications
• Proficiency in chest tube management, pacer wire removal, and 12 lead EKGs
• Experience with O2 management, including BIPAP and heated high-flow
