Assisted Self Check Out Monitor and identify customers needing assistance at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously. Approach and interact proactively with customers to recommend products and services appropriately. Greet, assist, and engage with multiple customers across registers at the same time. Move throughout the checkout area, standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and moving products to ensure transaction accuracy. Thank customers for their business and invite them back to Lowe’s. Customer Service Provide SMART customer service consistently, following Lowe's policies and procedures. Understand customer needs and assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise. Respond promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee questions, guiding them through store areas and projects when needed. Show sincere appreciation to customers. Communicate information about stock, special orders, features, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs. Coach, develop, and train associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities. Use a cash register to process sales, returns, and refunds according to guidelines. Provide proper monetary change to CSA Front End associates. Supervise, coach, and support CSA Front End Team (Front End/Loaders). Remove security tags, verify product info, and bag merchandise for customers. Answer incoming calls, direct or take messages as needed. Open additional registers when necessary to ensure adequate coverage. Assist in line vesting to facilitate quicker checkout turnaround. In-stock Prepare register area at shift start and end, checking functionality and stocking supplies. Inspect returned merchandise for damages. Enter and submit customer orders, print tickets, verify receipts, and sign off on loading tickets. Review and process online orders and returns. Lookup product info and competitor prices for price matching. Record store use items on the store use list. Clean and Safe Stores Obtain safety bags and monitor cash in drawers. Monitor store entrances/exits for merchandise entering/leaving, assist customers or staff triggering alarms. Detect signs of shoplifting, theft, and security risks; report promptly. Maintain store cleanliness and organization per standards. Ensure a safe work environment, conducting safety reviews, noting hazards, and securing areas. Follow safety requirements for specific job duties and operate store equipment as needed. General Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Less than 1 year of experience with computer use (inputting, accessing, modifying, outputting data). Less than 1 year of experience with retail technology (smartphones, tablets). 1-2 years of retail cashier experience. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds with or without accommodation. Preferences High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years experience in product sales, including credit, installation, add-ons, protection plans, warranties, features, and benefits. 1-2 years as a head cashier. 1-2 years working in any Lowe’s department. 1-2 years supervisory experience, including delegating, evaluating, training, and coaching.
