Production Worker Multiple Openings (Temp-to-Hire)

Mancan is partnered with a well-established Wooster-area manufacturer that has been in business since 1948 and specializes in custom metal fabrication, metal stamping, assembly, finishing, and specialized magnetic products. The company works with materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum and provides products and components for a variety of industries.
Their manufacturing operation handles a variety of processes, including cutting, punching, stamping, forming, welding, powder coating, finishing, assembly, and custom packaging. This means there are several different departments and opportunities for production employees to learn and grow.
We are currently hiring Full-Time Production Workers for multiple departments, including:
Machine Operators
Welders
Metal Finishers
Powder Coaters
Assemblers
Shipping
General Labor
What You May Be Doing:
Depending on the department, your responsibilities may include operating production equipment, assembling products, preparing and finishing parts, assisting with welding or other manufacturing processes, packaging materials, preparing products for shipment, and performing general production duties.
Machine operation or welding experience is a plus, but experience is not required for all positions. Training will be provided based on the department and position.
Job Requirements
Ability to lift 3040 lbs.
Good mechanical aptitude
Dependable with strong attendance
Ability to work in a production environment
Willingness to learn new tasks and processes
Ability to pass a drug screen and national background check
Pay & Growth
Starting Pay: $17.00/hour
$0.32 raise every 50 working days with good attendance
Annual raises once hired in
Generous benefits package once hired in
Schedule
1st Shift | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Other Shifts Available: 3rd Shift | 10:30 PM 7:00 AM. Must be able to train on 1st shift and then transfer.
Full-Time: 40 hours per week
Overtime may be available
