MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure
• 2 years' experience as an MRI Tech
• BLS certification
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT
• 3-5 years in MRI
• Experience with outpatient, inpatient, and ED patient types including patients with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, and whole body imaging
• GE and Siemens experience required
• EPIC required
• GE Discovery 750W required
• Siemens Aera required
• Siemens Magnetom Skyra required
• McKesson PACS required
• Covid vaccine required

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Shift Days: Monday-Friday
• 40 hours per week
• Weekend rotation: maximum every 3rd weekend
• On-call: Saturday and Sunday nights 9:00 PM - 6:30 AM
• Backup on-call: Saturday and Sunday 6:30 AM - 9:00 PM
• 30-minute response time for on-call responsibilities
• Weekly rotating responsibility for first-shift backup on-call and weekend on-call
• Weekend on-call occurs approximately once every 8 weeks and includes on-site Saturday hours, with a compensatory weekday off scheduled
• Holiday expectations based on unit needs
• No floating. MRI only
• 3 days of orientation
