Safety Specialist

Swing shift 12pm-10:30pm Sun-Wed and Wed- Sat Yes, holiday and OT needed if staffing gap Key Responsibilities Ensure warehouse safety through audits, OSHA compliance, training, and incident management Conduct weekly and monthly safety audits to identify compliance issues, risks, and improvement opportunitie Facilitate incident investigations to ensure worker safety and compliance with OSHA regulation Maintain accurate documentation to meet regulatory standards (29 CFR 1910 Enter safety data into internal databases promptly Perform safety observations and ensure adherence to safety protocol Train and support team members, including Area Managers, on safety audits and compliance Support fire prevention, hazardous waste management, or other safety initiatives as needed Drive process improvements to enhance workplace safety Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) role OR a Bachelor’s degree in a related fiel In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910 Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional settin Ability to maintain confidentiality in matters involving security or personnel Availability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekend Strong communication skills and a calm demeanor in high-pressure situation Preferred Qualification Bachelor’s degree or higher in a safety-related fiel Experience leading teams and conducting job hazard analyse Expertise in Workers’ Compensation case managemen Current first aid certification Background in healthcare or industrial setting Passion for championing worker safety and OSHA compliance #J-18808-Ljbffr SPECTRAFORCE
