Speech Language Pathologist

Overview VIBRA TRAVELS is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. We are looking for dependable, detail‑focused clinicians with experience in hospital settings who are ready to assist in life‑changing procedures while traveling the country. Minimum Qualifications Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC). Member of the American Speech‑Language and Hearing Association. Experience One (1) year of experience as an SLP in acute care settings, including long‑term acute care (LTAC). Benefits Competitive hourly rate plus a tax‑free stipend (if applicable). No pay cuts mid‑contract. Referral bonus up to $1,000. License reimbursement when traveling to a new state. Choice of assignments across partner facilities nationwide. BLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor; AHA preferred; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) may be required. Responsibilities Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction. Completes comprehensive patient evaluations and utilizes clinical reasoning to establish goals aimed at discharge. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to address discharge barriers, including equipment trialing and patient/family education. Documents medical records clearly and timely. Provides flexible caseload coverage, including individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions. Participates in student programs, professional development, and patient advocacy. Ensures compliance with all regulatory, safety, and performance improvement standards. Skills Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP. Current CCC from the American Speech‑Language & Hearing Association. BLS certification. At least one year of clinical experience.
