Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California Physical Therapist license
• School-based experience is a plus, but not required—motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Excellent interpersonal abilities to facilitate strong partnerships with staff, families, and students
• Skilled in documentation, assessment, and individualized intervention planning
• Adaptable, organized, and committed to fostering student independence

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students and develop personalized treatment plans to support physical and educational advancement
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and school staff to enhance classroom participation for students with physical challenges
• Provide consultation and training for educational staff to ensure proper implementation of therapy recommendations
• Maintain detailed progress records and participate actively in IEP meetings and team discussions
• Promote safe mobility and access to the learning environment for all students
