Position Summary Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Surgical Tech assists with the provision of safe and effective nursing care in the operating room. The role includes direct patient care, instrument handling, scrubbing and assisting the surgeon, surgical room turnover, preceptorship, and collaboration with the Registered Nurse in clinical decision‑making. Services covered include, but are not limited to, vascular, cardiac, neurosurgery, robotics, spine, orthopedics, urology, oncology, gynecology, ENT, general, ophthalmology, burns, plastic surgery, dental, and neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric care. Adherence to hospital and departmental policies in a Level I trauma hospital is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
