CBA - Supply Technician - Naval Test Wing Atlantic (NTWL) - Patuxent River, MD

Job Summary:

• Receive, store, and issue sales floor merchandise, materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard to fill shelves, racks, tables, or customers' orders.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs administrative tasks within NALCOMIS / OOMA, OneTouch, ERP / MILSTRIP, and SAP

• Performs aspects of technical supply management work such as inventory management, storage management, and cataloging related to squadron supply activities.

• Performs physical tasks to transport or store materials or merchandise manually loading or unloading transporting devices; unpacking, shelving, or placing items in proper storage locations; or transporting goods by hand truck, cart, or motor vehicle.

• Performs a variety of warehousing duties such as verifying materials, merchandise, and or equipment against receiving documents and routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods; taking inventory of stored materials; and removing materials from storage and preparing it for shipment.

• Proficient computer skills with the ability to update and maintain computer inventory records.

• Ability to read and prepare packing slips and labels.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain the requisite security clearance.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficiency with administrative tasks within NALCOMIS / OOMA, OneTouch, ERP / MILSTRIP, and SAP

• Proficient computer skills with the ability to update and maintain computer inventory records.

• Ability to read and prepare packing slips and labels.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain the requisite security clearance.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or GED.

Required Experience:

• Three years’ experience performing functional duties for the position assigned independently. Three years’ experience supporting aviation maintenance. Demonstrated knowledge of supply/ logistics policies and procedures. Demonstrated use of technical publications and guidance. Demonstrated use of equipment logs and records and specific experience in the position assigned. Experience with CNAFINST 4790.2 compliance.

Highly Desired:

• Strong experience with

• Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information Systems (NALCOMIS)

• Federal Logistics Database (FEDLOG)

• Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

• Experience performing analysis on logistics data

• Two years NAWC/ NAVAIR experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Full range of body motion, including handling and lifting up to 50 pounds, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.

• Requires vision and hearing corrected within normal range.

• Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of times to store, retrieve, and deliver supplies.

• Must be able to pass all workplace wellness screening requirements.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The hourly wage for this position is $45.34. This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
