Position: Stroke Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Stroke Coordinator to assist with survey readiness in a healthcare setting. This is a full-time day shift position, operating from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with no floating, on-call, or weekend requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and enhance stroke care coordination within the facility.
• Ensure compliance with stroke-related standards and participate in survey readiness initiatives.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Current and valid California nursing license.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Emergency Room (ER) settings.
• Strong neuro skills and knowledge related to stroke care.
• Experience as a Stroke Coordinator is highly desirable, or a strong interest in transitioning into this role.

Additional Information:

• Days: Monday to Friday
• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Patient Care: Focused on adults
• Daily Census: Information available upon request

Compliance Requirements:

• Completion of labs within 3-5 days of contract signing.
• 7-year work history verification required.
• Compliance documents must be submitted 10 days prior to the start date.
