Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist

Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Additional Requirements: 6 days of on-call duty per month

Job Summary

The Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist will play a vital role in the delivery of surgical care within the cardiovascular specialty. This position requires a skilled individual who will assist in providing high-quality surgical support, ensuring a safe and effective operating room environment.

Responsibilities

• Support surgical teams by preparing operating rooms and maintaining sterile environments.
• Assist during surgical procedures, providing necessary instruments and supplies to surgeons.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning and available for each surgical procedure.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Cardiovascular Operating Room specialty is required.
• AHA BLS certification is required.
• Certification in Surgical Technology (NBSTA or NCCT) is preferred.

Holiday Expectations

Must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve) each year.
