Registered Nurse - Urgent Care - Part Time (24 hours/week) The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing and evaluating delivery of care. The RN is accountable for direct patient care and supervises the care provided by professional and ancillary personnel. The RN assesses and plans for the educational needs of the patient and family that will contribute to the maintenance or restoration of health status on discharge. As a member of the health team, the RN implements the nursing plan, coordinates with the medical plan and works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team. Professionalism is demonstrated by quality of care, leadership and continued professional growth and development. Quality assurance endeavors, through process improvement initiatives, are implemented through and with the nursing team. Any RN in the facility may be requested to float to other departments as patient needs dictate. What is required Graduate of an accredited nursing program & currently licensed in the State of Washington Current BLS for Healthcare Providers card (maintenance required) ACLS within 6 months of hire (maintenance required) PALS within 6 months of hire (maintenance required) What is preferred One to two years of previous clinical experience in appropriate nursing area Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) TNCC certification Emergency Severity Index training Wage Wage range currently starts at $41.39/hour and goes up to $75.91/hour. Actual wage will be based on years of applicable experience. FTE .6 (24 hours/week) Benefits This position is benefits eligible.
