Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:
Provides mobile ultrasound imaging services, primarily in nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and processing sites. Utilizes portable sonographic equipment to capture diagnostically relevant images, supporting physicians' diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Dispatch to assigned facilities, arrive on time, and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Perform ultrasound examinations ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality, diagnostic images.
• Digitally transmit images to radiologists for interpretation.
• Verify patient identity using two identifiers, and ensure exam orders are accurate and complete before proceeding.
• Maintain equipment and vehicle in good condition, report malfunctions immediately.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, facility staff, and colleagues; respond promptly to urgent messages.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ARDMS or CCI certification in general and vascular ultrasound modalities.
• Graduate from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program.
• Maintain required certifications, registries, and health screening, providing documentation as needed.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, with the ability to produce it upon request.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills, smartphone operation, and proficiency in digital image transmission.
• Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide proper exemption documentation.
