Manager, Quality

Bio-Techne seeks a Manager, Quality to oversee quality management system operations at its Wallingford site, including document control, training, validations, and process improvements. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing product and process quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality management system activities including document control, training, validations, CAPA, and deviations
• Manage department personnel, provide guidance, conduct performance discussions, and train new employees
• Write, review, and approve SOPs, COAs, deviations, and change impact assessments
• Lead investigation and resolution of product and process non-conformances and quality issues
• Approve new and updated process validations and collaborate on product design and process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years relevant quality experience, or Master's degree with 2-5 years experience
• 3-5 years formal or informal leadership experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong data analysis and decision-making capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication across organizational levels
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams of varying skill levels and backgrounds
• Knowledge of quality management systems, SOPs, and validation processes

Compensation: $91,700–$150,800 base
