Resident Care Manager RN - Skilled Nursing / West Seattle, WA Full-Time Locations Seattle, WA 98116, USA Description Resident Care Manager / RN Status: Full Time Shift: Day Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday Salary: $110,240 - $131,040 Annually DOE Location: Avamere Rehabilitation at Park West - 1703 California Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98116 The Resident Care Manager RN supports the Director of Nursing in supervising, implementing, coordinating and managing resident care needs. Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate all aspects of resident care, including daily activities, personal care and medical needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on resident needs and preferences. Develop methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of the resident’s total regimen of care. Maintain open and effective communication with residents, families, staff and other healthcare professionals. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and facility policies and procedures. Monitor and evaluate the quality of resident care to ensure it meets standards and expectations. Train, supervise and evaluate direct care staff to ensure they provide quality care. Address and problem solve resident care issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of resident care. Participate in state and federal surveys of the facility; assist the Administrator in reviewing deficiencies and developing plans of correction. Collaborate with the Medical Director to assure quality of care. Attend continuing education programs designed to keep you abreast of changes in your profession and participate in or provide leadership for in-service training for nursing personnel. Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment. Requirements and Qualifications Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university. Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state. BSN preferred. Experience Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a supervisor in a healthcare setting. Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities. Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems. Benefits Health Insurance: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans.
