Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to support residential and commercial HVAC service operations throughout the Clearwater area.

This is a hands-on field service role with additional responsibility for coordinating daily service activity, assisting with scheduling, supporting customers, and working closely with the General Manager and Office Manager.

The ideal candidate is an experienced HVAC technician who combines strong technical abilities with excellent customer service, communication, and leadership skills.

Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems.
• Respond to field service calls and resolve HVAC issues efficiently and professionally.
• Assist with HVAC system installations and change-outs as needed.
• Support light refrigeration service and repairs when required.
• Coordinate daily service jobs with the Office Manager using dispatch software.
• Provide scheduling input based on technician availability, customer needs, and service priorities.
• Ensure invoices, service information, and other financial or logistical documentation are accurate and provided to the office.
• Communicate directly with customers regarding service needs, scheduling, and technical questions.
• Answer customer calls and inquiries when additional technical support is needed.
• Provide professional customer service while representing the company in the field.
• Help create a positive, organized, and productive work environment.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for evening and weekend service needs.
• Support additional service and operational responsibilities as needed.
• Report directly to the General Manager and Office Manager.

Qualifications
• 3+ years of HVAC Service Technician experience required.
• Experience servicing both commercial and residential HVAC systems.
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair skills.
• Comfortable assisting with system installations and change-outs.
• Proficiency with dispatch software, smartphones, and other computer applications.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and ability to interact confidently with customers.
• Strong organization and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with office and field teams.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check.
• Availability for rotating evening and weekend on-call coverage.

Preferred Experience
• Light commercial refrigeration experience.
• Previous experience coordinating or scheduling HVAC service calls.
• Experience mentoring or supporting other service technicians.
• Strong people-management and leadership skills.
• Experience working directly with customers to resolve service-related concerns.
