CDR ProSource is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist II to join our client’s manufacturing team in Three Rivers, MI . This position is ideal for an experienced machinist who is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and capable of working in a fast-paced precision machining environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and committed to producing high-quality machined parts.

Pay Rate: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour + $1.50 shift premium
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 2nd Shift (3:20 PM – 1:50 AM)
Work Week: 4-day schedule (consistent long-term stability)
Key Responsibilities
• Operate CNC mills and/or lathes according to blueprints, engineering plans, and work orders
• Set tool registers, offsets, and reference points for machining operations
• Verify machine settings by measuring positions and inspecting first-run parts and samples
• Perform machining operations including drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing
• Troubleshoot machining processes and make necessary adjustments as needed
• Replace worn tools and maintain production quality standards
• Complete production and quality documentation, logs, and reports
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist with equipment troubleshooting
• Communicate production status and shift updates with team members
• Follow all safety procedures and quality control standards at all times
• Support additional duties as assigned to maintain workflow efficiency
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of CNC Operator I experience required
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
• Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes
• Knowledge of GD&T, basic math, geometry, and trigonometry
• Ability to work with various materials and understand machining behavior
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Commitment to safety and quality standards
