Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for a variety of general surgery and MAC cases within an ASC setting.
• Manage anesthesia for specific neurosurgery procedures as required by the facility.
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop appropriate anesthetic plans for outpatient candidates.
• Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period to ensure safety and comfort.
• Oversee patient emergence and discharge from the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team and ASC staff to maintain an efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Valid and unrestricted Florida medical license (or eligibility for licensure).
• Strong clinical skills in MAC, general surgery, and neurosurgical anesthesia.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient surgery center.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
