Job Title: Senior Endoscopy Technician

Certifications: BLS required; SGNA or Surgical Tech program completion preferred


Description:
We are seeking a Senior Endoscopy Technician for an outpatient Endoscopy Center.
Strong scope reprocessing skills are required.
Candidates must either complete SGNA education for GI/Endoscopy or be a Certified Surgical Tech with 3 years of Endoscopy experience.
Minimum of 3 years experience is required.
Candidates should have prior experience working collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, 07:00 to 15:30, with no weekends or holidays.
Experience with Olympus processor CV-190, Olympus Light Source CLV -190, and Olympus scopes is preferred.
Candidates should be familiar with high-level disinfection of procedural equipment.
Daily procedures include upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, polypectomies, biopsies, PEG placements, banding, balloon dilation, and Bravo testing.
Experience with colonoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS, EUS, and ERCP scopes is required.
Knowledge of back table setup and room setup is preferred.
The patient population primarily includes adults with ASA classifications 1, 2, and 3.
This position is at a stand-alone endoscopy center.
Daily procedures will range from 34-36, supported by 3 Gastroenterologists.
Candidates should also have experience with infection control and sterilization/disinfection processes.
Experience with specific endoscopic equipment and high-level disinfection procedures is strongly preferred.
Candidates must respond to the requirement of having never worked as a permanent employee, on a travel contract, or as registry/per-diem in a related facility.
All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state as needed.
